Solicitation of Clients:
Caregivers must not solicit clients to follow them to another agency. In the event that a caregiver solicits a client to move to a different agency, a fee of $5000 must be paid to CareSphere. This policy is in place to protect the integrity of our client relationships and maintain professionalism.
Client Possessions:
Caregivers are strictly prohibited from taking or borrowing anything from a client's home, even with permission. This includes money, personal items, and household goods. Caregivers must maintain clear boundaries to avoid any appearance of impropriety.
Buying Items from Clients:
Caregivers are not allowed to purchase any items from clients, even if the client offers to sell them. This policy helps maintain professional boundaries and prevents potential conflicts of interest.
Theft Prevention and Reporting:
At CareSphere, we have implemented strict policies to protect both our caregivers and clients from any allegations of theft. It is essential to follow our rules on tipping, soliciting, and accepting gifts, as well as our handling money policy, to avoid misunderstandings and accusations. Clients can accuse caregivers of theft at any time, which is why adherence to these policies is crucial.
If an allegation of theft arises, we will first ensure that our company policy was followed. We will ask the client for proof and conduct a thorough investigation to determine whether the allegations are founded. If necessary, we may advise the client to file charges with the police. Rest assured, if you have followed the rules and not engaged in any wrongful behavior, you have nothing to worry about. Stick to our guidelines, and you will be protected.
