Policy on Sleeping While On Duty
At CareSphere, maintaining a high level of professionalism and providing the best care to our patients is a top priority. We have established a clear policy on sleeping while on duty to ensure the safety and quality of care. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Rested and Alert:
- Before heading to work, make sure you are well-rested and fully alert. It's essential to arrive at your shift in a well-rested and attentive state.
2. Sleeping on the Job:
- Under no circumstances are employees allowed to sleep on the job, even during overnight shifts.
- You should be well-rested before undertaking an overnight shift, and you should remain awake and alert throughout your entire shift, even if the patient is asleep.
Immediate Termination:
- If you are found sleeping on the job by a patient or any other CareSphere staff member, you will be subject to immediate termination.
This policy is in place to uphold the highest standards of patient care and professionalism. We appreciate your dedication to delivering exceptional care to our patients, and we trust that you will adhere to these guidelines to maintain the integrity of our services. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact your supervisor or a CareSphere representative. Your commitment to these rules is crucial to our mission of providing excellent care.
